- Access width: Delivery lorry needs 4 meters clear width minimum
- Overhead clearance: 20ft minimum (scaffolding, cables, trees)
- Ground strength: Firm, level surface required - not soft ground or fresh tarmac
- Turning circle: Lorry needs space to position skip accurately
Site managers: Plan delivery carefully. Once positioned, a 16-yard skip cannot be easily moved. Choose location that won't obstruct site operations.
